Creating your store

Welcome to Storeborn

Congratulations — your store is created! Here's a quick walkthrough of the first things you should do to get up and running.

1. Fill in your store details

Go to Settings and open the Store tab. Enter your store name, contact email, company name, organization number, and billing address. Company name and billing country are mandatory.

2. Add your first product

Navigate to Catalog → Products and click Create product. Give it a name, a price, upload an image, and set the status to Published. See the article Adding your first product for a detailed walkthrough.

3. Set up payments

Without a payment method customers can't complete checkout. Go to Addons and install a payment provider — for example Svea Checkout or Stripe. Then enter your API credentials on the addon's settings page. See Setting up payment methods.

4. Configure shipping

Open Settings → Shipping tab and create at least one shipping method with a rate. See Configuring shipping methods.

5. Customize your theme

Pick your colors, upload your logo, and adjust typography under Theme → Theme editor. See Customizing your store's theme.

6. Go live

When you're ready, connect your own domain under Settings → Domain tab — or use the free {slug}.storeborn.com subdomain to start selling right away. See Going live — launch checklist.
