Organize with categories
Go to Catalog → Categories to manage your category structure.
Create a category
Click + Create category. Fill in the name (the URL slug is auto-generated), a description, and optionally upload a category image.
Hierarchy
Categories can be nested. Set a Parent category to create subcategories — for example "Clothing" → "T-shirts", "Pants".
Assign products
When editing a product, select one or more categories in the sidebar. The first selected category is the primary category, used for breadcrumbs in the storefront.
SEO
Each category has its own SEO title and meta description fields. These are used for the category page in your store and in search engine results.
Sort order
Drag categories to reorder them, or set the sort order manually. The order determines how categories appear in your store's navigation.
Customer group access
Optionally restrict category visibility to specific customer groups. This requires the B2B addon.
