Getting started with the AI Assistant

What is the AI Assistant?

The Storeborn AI Assistant is a chat panel inside your admin. It can read your store data and (with AI Pro) make changes for you — create products, write descriptions, set up discounts, and more. Everything it does is logged, and most write actions can be undone within 24 hours.

Two tiers

• AI Lite — free, on by default. Read-only chat plus inline text suggestions (descriptions, SEO titles, meta text). Your monthly credit quota is shared across all the Lite-mode stores in your account.
• AI Pro — paid add-on. Adds write tools that actually modify your store. Each store has its own monthly credit quota; tier add-ons raise the cap.

Your current credit usage and tier are always visible in Dashboard → Account Limits.

Open the panel

Press Ctrl+I (Windows / Linux) or ⌘+I (Mac) anywhere in the admin. The same shortcut closes the panel again. You can also click the floating AI button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Your first request

Type what you want in natural language. Examples:

• "Write a product description for a black cotton t-shirt"
• "What were my top 3 selling products last week?"
• "Help me set up a 10% discount for new customers"

Privacy

Your prompts are sent to Storeborn's AI sub-processor, listed in your Storeborn Terms of Service §21. The platform manages the sub-processor relationship — you don't configure or see specific vendor keys.
