Adding your first product

Create your first product
Navigate to Catalog → Products and click Create product.
General tab
- Product name — the name shown to customers in your store.
- URL slug — auto-generated from the name, but you can edit it. The system checks that the slug is unique.
- Description — use the rich-text editor to write a product description with formatting, links, and lists.
Images tab
- Upload product images. The first image becomes the main image.
- Drag to reorder. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP.
Pricing & Stock tab
- Price (excl. tax) — the selling price excluding VAT. Tax is added automatically based on the product's tax class.
- Sale price (excl. tax) — optional discounted price. When set, the original price is shown as a comparison price.
- Cost price — optional, used for margin calculations.
- SKU — stock keeping unit for inventory tracking.
- Stock quantity — set to 0 to show the product as out of stock.
- Weight & dimensions — used for weight-based shipping calculations.
Category & status
- Category — in the sidebar, select a category to organize the product.
- Status — at the top of the sidebar, switch from Draft to Published to make the product visible in your store.
Click Save to create the product.
Tip: The product won't appear in your storefront until the status is set to Published.
