Account security and two-factor authentication

Account security
Go to your account settings by clicking your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
Profile
Update your name and email address. Changing your email sends a verification to the new address.
Change password
Enter your current password, then your new password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Click Enable to activate 2FA.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
- Save your backup codes — these let you log in if you lose access to your authenticator app. Store them in a safe place.
To disable 2FA, click Disable. This requires your password for confirmation.
Tip: We strongly recommend enabling 2FA, especially for owner accounts. It protects your store even if your password is compromised.
